What exactly do you review?

We compare your rate for the same room and dates, whether that rate is available for less, and whether the same room can be booked with added benefits such as breakfast, resort credit, and upgrade eligibility.

What counts as an improvement?

An improvement means one of two things: the same room and dates are available at a lower refundable rate, or the same rate is available with added benefits. If neither exists, nothing changes.

Will you change my reservation without asking?

No. You approve every change before anything is rebooked or canceled. If there is a better outcome for the same hotel, we show it to you first.

Does this work for non-refundable reservations?

No. Your hotel must be refundable within the cancellation window.

Do I have to cancel my hotel myself?

If you originally booked outside of Late Checkout, you are responsible for canceling that reservation. We provide clear instructions and timing guidance once a new reservation booking is secured. Nothing should be canceled until the new reservation is confirmed.

How do you make money?

If we rebook your reservation, we may earn a commission from the hotel. If we cannot improve your reservation booking, we earn nothing. There is always no cost to you.

What happens after I submit?

We review your reservation and contact you if we find an improvement. We'll email you directly if we identify an improvement.

How is a hotel reservation through Late Checkout different?

We compare multiple refundable rates across our travel partners and check whether the same reservation includes added benefits, like upgrades and resort credits. Monitoring comes standard with each refundable booking through the cancellation window.

Are your rates higher than direct rates?

No. In many cases are rates are lower and we're able to secure premium perks like free breakfast, resort credits, and room upgrades.

What kind of benefits are you referring to?

Where available, benefits can include daily breakfast, resort or property credits, upgrade eligibility at check-in, and early check-in or late checkout (subject to availability). Not every hotel offers these.

Do I still approve the hotel reservation?

Yes. We send you the final rate and details before confirming.

Will you monitor my hotel booking after it is confirmed?

Yes. Monitoring continues until the cancellation deadline.

Can I use loyalty programs?

Yes. When you're ready to book, we will collect your hotel loyalty program numbers and add them to the reservation.

How long does it take to receive options?

Most requests are reviewed within 24-48 hours.
